CentralPACityGuide.com was first conceived as a website where tourists and visitors to the Central Pa region could quickly and easily locate hotels, restaurants, churches, and retail stores. It quickly became apparent that the Central PA region needed a website that local residents could go to to find out much the same thing. Did you ever notice how you could be walking down the street and notice a store or restaurant that seemingly appeared out of nowhere, only to find it had been there for years. There are so many small but incredible businesses around that not many people realize are there for a number of reasons: the business could have opened recently, it could reside on a side street or a road that doesn't have much traffic, or it could just be passed over from people caught up in their own thoughts, not realizing what's around them.
CentralPACityGuide.com wants to bring all of the Central PA region's businesses together right under your fingertips. We offer an attractive listing of local businesses by category and also by keyword search. If you are looking for a restaurant that serves a particular dish such as prime rib, typing "prime rib" into the search bar produces a listing of all restaurants that serve that particular dish. The same could be done to find doctors, hair stylists, churches, or a nice place to take your family for a night out on the town.
We also want to provide more information about the community. Our website offers a listing of ATM machines, parks, and playgrounds within the Central PA region. Also, there is a local event calendar that will list all community events, such as sporting events, concerts, theatre and shows, yard sales, and anything else going on in the region.
